Presents the 1st semi-annual
RISING STARS OF THE DESERT
2012 Music Video Competition


Music video submissions will be in 4 formats:
COUNTRY, ROCK, JAZZ, POP

* WINNERS in each format will have their song PLAYED on the RADIO.
* WINNERS and 1st RUNNER-UPS will get to PERFORM at a LISTENER
APPRECIATION PARTY for FREE EXPOSURE.
* Music videos will be judged by CELEBRITY JUDGES.

Rules:
1. ALL entries must be POSTED on MARKER BROADCASTING
FACEBOOK site NO LATER than MIDNIGHT, March 31st, 2012, in
the EVENTS SECTION of the  'Rising Stars of the Desert Music Video
Contest' with your song/performance attached. You MUST be a fan of
Marker Broadcasting on facebook to do this.

2. VIDEO MUST INCLUDE: Name of group/artist, hometown and
song title.

3. ONE VIDEO ENTRY per singer/group PER FORMAT. Song/arrangement must be downloaded to disc for sound/radio quality submission if you are one of our finalists.

4. MULTIPLE ENTRIES allowed in the form of ONE ENTRY PER FORMAT PER singer/group.

5. Singers/groups MUST be LOCAL RESIDENTS WITHIN THE
COVERAGE AREAS of our radio stations.

6. Open to anyone WITHOUT a SIGNED RECORD or RECORDING CONTRACT.

7. SUBMISSION DEADLINE is MIDNIGHT, March 31st, 2012

8. WINNERS of each category will be SELECTED and PLAYED in their
respective categories. The categories are: KPLM 106.1 for the
country winner, KJJZ 102.3 jazz for the jazz winner, THE HEAT
99.5 rock for the rock winner, and, THE OASIS 95.9 pop/oldies
for the pop/oldies winner. Winners will be announced on the air.

9. Marker Broadcasting Reserves the right to refuse any submission at the discretion of Management.
